Xmas Sales

I have just returned from holidays. Had to delist my products for a short period because I was away. Tough being a sole trader sometimes. Hopefully, as times goes on, may be able to employ someone. For now its me, myself and I running my online business, http://www.fab4hairnbeauty.com/.
My products are selling fairly well on Amazon UK. They are indeed fabulous products plus black women have very limited options when it comes to beauty products over here. We are determined as a business to offer as much variety as we can.
Traffic on my website has also increased slightly. Thanks to free AdWords voucher from Google. I am hoping to advertise more as its the only guaranteed way of getting noticed. Its however very expensive.

Ready For Growth

Attended a very informative seminar today entitled "Ready for Growth" . The seminar was organised by Barclays Bank to encourage and educate small businesses about growing their business. I almost discouraged myself from attending because I felt it may not be right for me.  I was glad  I attended because I feel fired up. It was also free to attend for their customers.

The seminar offered a very good opportunity to network. Had a chat with a budding enterprenure who had just started her business like me. She had so much information to give. It was great bouncing off ideas and rubbing minds. Information indeed is power. I am rearing to go further with my business.

Was really fired up by the inspirational stories of businesses which started off small but have grown tremendously. I was particularly inspired by the talk given by the CEO of Ella's Kitchen, Paul Lindley. Amazing story of determination.
I am fired up to keep going despite challenges.

Popular Products

I do have a beautiful website but its so frustrating the number of hits it gets. I also know that I sell popular and fabulous products at great prices because of the sales I make through my Amazon Uk and Ebay website. Why am I not selling on my website? The products are even cheaper on my website. I suppose it takes a while for visitors to trust a website enough to patronise it.

I have decided to retune and redesign my website to make it more enticing. I am hoping that sales and vistors to the website gets going fast. Its so hard running a business, but I have to keep going. I have been invited to to a Barclays ready for growth seminar next month and I am looking forward to it. I can use all the help I can get at the moment.

Any advise on how to increase traffic to my website? Please reply to this blog.

Updating

Just started my online business, Fab4hairnbeauty.com and its been quite challenging. Just discovered there are a lot of information on the web to help young businesses. Read some articles on line that I found very informative. Traffic to my website has picked up a bit. Can't wait to start shifting my fabulous llace wigs.

My First Blog
